• DescriptionKamloops City Council is deeply concerned by reports of racist and white nationalist activity that occurred in the community and on Tḱemlúps te Secwépemc lands this weekend. We unequivocally condemn all forms of racism, hate, denialism, intimidation, and discrimination. Such actions have no place here. As our communities prepare to mark the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation together, this incident serves as a painful reminder that the work of reconciliation remains necessary and ongoing.
