DescriptionThe City of Kamloops is now accepting applications for election officials for the general local election on Saturday, October 17, 2026. All those interested in working at a polling location on election day are encouraged to apply. With 16 polling locations around the community, the City is looking to hire around 250 election officials, including presiding election officials and alternate presiding election officials. Election officials are responsible for a variety of tasks, including registering voters, reviewing and confirming identification, and issuing ballots.
